Maya DeBrouwer of La Canada High and Reena Hsieh of Arcadia High, both representing California, placed fourth and 10th, respectively, in the girls 5-kilometer championship race at the Foot Locker West Regional at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. DeBrouwer ran 18:02 and Hsieh clocked 18:12 to both advance to race Dec. 9 at the national final at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif.
