Maya DeBrouwer, a junior at La Canada High in California, took third in the Division 3-4-5 girls varsity team sweepstakes race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 17:49 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. DeBrouwer helped the Spartans secure sixth place with 173 points, including fourth among Division 4 programs.
